Bacardi is founded on February 4 by Don Facundo Bacardí Massó in Santiago de Cuba, when he buys a small distillery and revolutionizes the rum-making process to create a smooth, light-bodied spirit – what the world now knows as BACARDÍ rum. Arran was founded in 1994 when the Lochranza Distillery was built in the Isle of Arran. Lochranza is located in the north end of the island and it is chosen because the water in the region is of the highest quality. Years later they opened a second distillery, Lagg Distillery, and combined together and combined together they become what is now known as Arran Distillery. For decades, Arran has been perfecting their craft and is widely known to produce some of the finest Highland Scotch Whiskies.
